Catholicism Is Not A Christian faith

I started out as a Catholic, I was born into a Catholic Family. Catholic In Name only – CINO kind of like RINO – Republican In Name Only. We weren’t practicing so much. 

I was baptized in the Catholic Church in 1983. I started reading the Bible, but didn’t get very far! I moved to California and soon went my own way. I believe after about a year of living there, maybe a little sooner.

I was having my fun, but I was being called back. So 40 years later I was rebaptized in a Christian church in 2023! But wait, isn’t Catholicism a Christian faith? NO, It is not!

Here’s why:

1. The Catholic church has written their own church doctrine, that is separate from the Christian Church doctrine. It’s similar but different. You would think all Christian religions would have the same doctrines. 

2.They have their own version of the Bible which has 73 books as opposed to the standard of 66 books like the King James Bible! In the Catholic Bible they have removed the 2nd commandment and split the 10th in two so they would still have 10!

Deuteronomy 4:2

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

It’s easy to see why they did this, so they could continue to idolize and pray to Mary and other Saints.

1 Timothy 2:5

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Do a search for the 10 Commandments or look in your Bible – Exodus 20.

So they can have statues and sculptures of Jesus Mary, and other Saints. Like the sculpture of Jesus on the cross at the back of the Alter of every Catholic church on the planet.

 So they can have images of Jesus Mary, and other Saints, the like The Stations Of The Cross around every Catholic church in the world.

 So they can have jewelry, like the St Christopher medal and medal of other Saints and Jesus on the cross necklaces.

3. Catholics call Priests father which is Forbidden by God:

Matthew 23:9
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

4. The Catholic church has confessionals where a priest listens to confessions and lies about absolving the sins of the unsuspecting person.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for any priest to absolve anyone’s sins! In order for a priest to be able to absolve sins he would have to be sinless like Jesus Christ! That is impossible since we are all born in sin!

You confess your sins to Jesus by yourself wherever you are, not Mary or anyone else.

There was already one Last Supper. Maybe if they did  the Eucharist once a year, they could have a Catholic holiday. As it stands right now it is done over 1 MILLION times per day in all the Catholic churches on the planet!

It’s like celebrating Good Friday over a million times per day. Which is already done in all the Catholic churches in the world. But it’s done once per year! They could do them both on the same day. I know Catholics everywhere would freak out if the church decided to do that.

Let’s Talk About Popes

1. Pope Francis

Handling of Sexual Abuse Cases: Criticized for initially defending Chilean Bishop Juan Barros, who was accused of covering up abuse (he later apologized for errors in judgment).
Handling of Abused Nuns: Accused of not acting on reports of priests coercing nuns into abortions, despite admitting awareness of the abuse.
Theological Disputes: Conservative critics have accused him of creating division and ambiguity, particularly regarding his 2016 opening for divorced and civilly remarried Catholics to receive Communion, which some accused of heresy.
Financial and Administrative Scandals: His tenure has continued to face questions regarding financial mismanagement within the Vatican.
