Frank Tourek vS Christopher Hitchens

Hitchens: 33:20 Talks about members of the church lying to children about hell and making a living that way.
He’s right about the criminality of these people, they still exist today, and they weren’t lying about Hell though…a lot of them are probably there right now.
They are called “Fear Mongers”. Perfect examples of this are almost ANY news outlet, all governments, people like Dr Fauci spreading LIES about a “deadly virus”.

Hitchens: 34:40 He talks about Catholicism quite a bit and there is a lot to talk about concerning them. They are the first Mafia.
He goes on about the atrocities committed by the Catholic church
and he’s right about them. But it has nothing to do with Christianity, I believe he’s just grasping at straws at this point.

Hitchens: 38:30 He talks about people having a personal god and a personal savior, these are wrong and blasphemous too. People create their own version of god to suit their needs and to justify their sins. They are breaking the 1st and most times, the second commandments.

• 1st: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
• 2nd “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor serve them”

What Hitchens fails to mention, when he says “personal savior”, is that JESUS, is the personal savior.

Hitchens: 40:35 Sea shells in the mountains. Could that be from The Flood?

Hitchens: 44:00 He starts talking about morals and says he has 2 questions, but he just babbles, you can’t understand the first question.
It seems as though he’s saying, without GOD, we would still know
right from wrong. That’s possible I guess, but doubtful. He talks about people doing atrocities in the name of their god, but he’s talking about false gods and false religions.

Hitchens: 47:35 He also talks about people doing violent things in the name of GOD. He uses Frank’s bus example, his point seems to be that, that means GOD doesn’t exist. It only means that person is insane or possessed.

Satan rules Earth for the time being, why do you think there is all this BS with transgenders and LBGTQABCDEF?

His closing statement he talks about religion, organized religion generally is bad.

GOD, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, The Trinity has no religion.
Christianity is the closest to The Way. The Way being what Jesus was teaching.

My guess is that something happened to Hitchens when he was growing up.

Maybe he was molested by somebody in the Church of England?
He said nothing that proved that GOD doesn’t exist. As Frank says in his rebuttal, he just talked about the evils of religion. I agree with Hitchens on that point.

In his rebuttal to Frank’s rebuttal, it’s really difficult to understand
what’s he’s trying to say. He says something about everything being
wiped out, about the extinction of everything, but he sort of answered that himself much earlier, when he mentioned sea shells
in the mountains of Virginia.

Then he answers Franks’s first question while they are sitting, with babbling nonsense. THIS is a perfect example of the ego. He can’t answer Frank’s question, and he knows it, but the ego, WILL NOT let him concede.

Hitchen’s problem, besides the obvious is that he’s thinking like a man.
Nobody can think the way GOD thinks, nobody can understand why he does what he does.

He brings up original sin, complaining about why we’ve been created like that.

We WEREN’T created like that. Eve was deceived by Satan, she took a bite of the fruit she wasn’t supposed to eat. Then she gets Adam to take a bite.

GOD then made the “serpent” slither on it’s belly from that point on:

Genesis 3:14 King James Bible:“And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:”

Apparently, it wasn’t snake-like, the way the media portrays it.
He also punished Adam and Eve, saying (Gen 3:16-19):

Unto the woman he said: “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

And unto Adam he said: “Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”

Hitchens’ body language says a lot of what is really going on in his head. He talks about abortion saying it’s an “ethical and moral” decision. He’s right, it IS ethical and moral! Those who murder babies because it would be inconvenient to have them, have NO ethics OR morals. He talks around in circles while continually playing with his glasses and pen. This is a man who is nervous about being exposed. Frank has him on the ropes.

Hitchens in his failing argument says one child goes to church and will go to Heaven another child doesn’t go to church and will go to hell. That is incorrect, both children may end up in hell if they don’t accept Jesus as their Saviour.

Hitchens is like a leftist that won’t let the other person speak.
He keeps bringing up religion, specifically Catholicism.
I seriously think he was molested by a Catholic priest.

We are made in GOD’S image, I’m not sure he fully understands that.

When the moderator asked if he would like to move on to questions from the audience, he JUMPED at the chance to move on. It’s like the bell ringing in a boxing match when one of the fighters is about to be knocked out.

Hitchens is great at avoiding questions, like when one of the audience asked about DNA he totally avoids it.
